Radio might need to start paying for songs

I had no idea they didn’t.  For once I agree with the labels.

If it happens it should be a boost to faster penetration of new mediums and formats (e.g. Pandora over 3G straight to your car radio).

VC funding down 33% last quarter

It’s not that they have less money so much as they’re repurposing it to getting their later-stage companies past the crisis (there is no exit market right now).
