Among Adkisson’s ranting was a clear statement: “This was an act of political protest.” Which means that it was, by definition and his own admission, an act of domestic terrorism.
He refers to James Adkisson, the man who shot two innocent people dead last July inside a Unitarian Universalist church and was just sentenced to life in prison.
U.S. Code defines terrorism as “premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents”. Makes sense to me. So let’s call him what he is.
